"maybe he's not mansplaining maybe he's just neurodivergent and sharing his special interest" is such a weird argument because when people call something mansplaining they don't mean "man who explains something to you", they mean "condescending man who assumes women know nothing in conversations". there's a difference between simply sharing information and talking down to someone yk

I have mentioned this before but I have been accused of mansplaining when I was sharing science fact that excited me with an entire server, nobody had been talking about it prior and I was not addressing any single person. I was just excited and wanted to share something with people. I'm also a woman, but my profile picture and name didn't make that clear so I got dog piled for mansplaining. I also got accused of mansplaining by a customer when I was literally training a new employee (who had "trainee" on her nametag), because I had a shaved head and got misgendered frequently. This is not a hypothetical thing that people are making up to get angry at, it is something that is actually happening to neurodivergent people — not just neurodivergent men, either — and claiming that it doesn't happen is doing nobody any favors.
