I debated on revealing this for a long time but since I’m currently in the midst of slowly but surely chipping at my workload, I figured why not? Have a little sneak-peek of the renewed LoZ AU I’ll be working on!

They’re base design tests for Midna and Zelda, though Midna’s is actually complete while Zelda is still in her concept stage (though her base design is pretty much what you see here).

As much love as the previous Midna design I made got, I ultimately decided I wanted her to look a lliiiiiiiiittle closer to her “true form” without sacrificing the idea of mixing it with design elements from her “imp form”, so this is a reiteration of that! I’ll have to go in and design her clothes eventually :>

As for Zelda, I really like her “Tetra” design so I decided to draw a lot more inspiration of this Zelda from her; both in color-scheme and in personality, though with a bit of a twist!

For the basic premise of the AU: In a time of tremulant peace throughout Hyrule, Zelda, due to a sudden tragedy, is now fast-tracked into becoming Queen. But Zelda isn’t convinced this tragedy was an accident, and in the midst of navigating a political field filled with snakes and liers, she has a mystery on her hands to solve.

That’s all I can say on it for now! I’ve got a lot of stuff to work through but updates should be hopefully soon! And for those of you who are still interested in my Super Mario AU, no worries! Updates for that will come soon as well! ^.^
