Thing that annoys me about Fallout 4 is none of its plot necessitated being in the Fallout universe.

Every other Fallout game’s plot is informed by the setting. Fallout 1, you need to find water and stop mutants from taking over. Both conflicts that result directly from its post apocalyptic setting. Fallout 2, you need to find a terraforming machine and stop the remnants of the US government from being cringe. Fallout 3, as flimsy of a game as it is, was at least about a conflict over a water purifier. New Vegas is specifically about multiple post-war factions fighting over a source of electricity.

But Fallout 4? Androids replacing humans? You mean Blade Runner? That’s Blade Runner. How does that result from the apocalypse? It has nothing to do with Fallout. You could have set this story in any sci-fi setting, no reason it had to be Fallout.

Anyway just something that annoyed me

The writing just sucked
