I think Dave being a capitalist is pretty fitting for a knight of time to blindly support a system that slowly grinds everything beneath it to dust, even itself
Time as an aspect is all about progression and destruction, about inevitable decay and death. The sleezy boot licking capitalist going on about the inevitablity of progress, of the grinding up of anything genuine into an all consuming machine that will inevitable destroy itself but will never stop, its all very time bound in all the worst ways
