I choose Rain Catcher because he was a generic BG foal that was about her age and I could pretty much do whatever I wanted with him because the fandom hadn’t done anything with him.

He was also named Rain Catcher because on the MLP Wiki page he was originally named ‘Rain Catcher’, but is now named ‘Chip Mint’ (A really really stupid name in my opinion, and one that doesn’t fit the character’s look at all. I honestly have no idea why they thought that was a good name for him)

If I was to get Applebloom pregnant in a similar way, I’m not sure if I would pick a well known foal or a generic BG foal like I did Scoots. AB is a different breed of pony from Scootaloo, where she’s not as inherently naive as Scoots was when she got pregnant, so it’d play out a little different. AB also has supportive family, and siblings that would pretty much kill the colt if he ran away from his responsibility P: (Shotgun wedding anyone?)

All in all, who would I pick? I’m really not sure. Maybe I would’ve picked Rumble and had an awkward love triangle with Scoots. Maybe I would’ve picked Pip and had a terribly British time with it. Or maybe I would’ve gone the controversial route and had it be like someone like Thunderlane, way to old to be doing that with AB but is now her baby daddy. Who knows.

It’s all a bunch of possibilities, and since I didn’t do it I don’t know what I might have done. But it’s certainly interesting to think about o3o
