the person that initially said this with no source other than “just trust me man” is now using that post to go on a rant about nuclear power, so im sure they have exactly zero ulterior motive whatsoever in telling you about aboveground nuclear weapons testing that the rest of the world somehow blinked and missed

like do you guys know how easily aboveground nuclear tests are to spot from other countries? the reason the partial test ban treaty specified everything but underground nuclear testing is that everything but underground is easy to detect

the amount of people in the reblogs of that post tagging it shit like “ohhh i didnt know this thats scary” is like straight depressing. yall have got to learn to be more skeptical
