Water is the only beverage that is universally liked by everyone

Universally necessary, not I would not say liked. There are people who would forgo water for coffee or tea or soft drinks. Not to mention aquaphobes and those infected by rabies.

I know a few people who dislike water and only drink soda.

Sometimes I’m not sure how they’re still alive.
