I don’t do audio books but other members of the seanan Discord assure me that it’s very well done, and I love the story about an asexual girl going to a school for people who want to return to their portal fantasy and solving a murder case before her portal calls her Home :3

adding to everyone who has suggested gideon the ninth/the locked tomb series. moira quirk is a FANTASTIC narrator, and since i know we like similar media (lol) i can pretty safely recommend it. also—if you’re in the US, your local library will most likely have the audiobooks via their app (for free, baby!!!) because they’re popular books and are in most collections now (also they’re definitely elsewhere if that doesn’t work for you). imposter1491625 liked this

cricket in times square 👍 (< out of touch with the kids) (but actually the narrator is really good and it’s a pleasant listen)

The Martian - yeah the movie was good, but the audio book is stellar. It’s the only one I’ve listened to that I could listen to repeatedly.
