This is part of what I don’t like about season 4 Twilight is a Princess standing right in front of them and nopony notices.
I get that they are trying to convince us that Twilight hasn’t changed much but there are certain benefits of being a Princess that are being ignored, and it makes no sense.
I guess only the people of Canterlot paid any attention and the rest of Equestria’s just minds their own miserable business.
I think it could be because the city sees everyone as an equal and treats them as such.
I thought it was because almost everyone was an asshole. Also, they missed out on a great chance for applejack to go see her aunt and uncle. They didn’t have to show it, but they could have at least had applejack mention something about it.
