I wear one, but I wear them with suits and vests and I know the difference between a trilby and a fedora.
So first step
Stop wearing them with fucking t-shirts.
I only wear my black trilby on fridays with my black and grey pinstripe shirt. I would also wear my tie, but it got ruined.
