I wear one, but I wear them with suits and vests and I know the difference between a trilby and a fedora.
So first step
Stop wearing them with fucking t-shirts.
Oh, this is one of those “fashion” things. So I guess my asshole teachers were right, if you’re being bullied you should just go with peer pressure and conform to what everyone else thinks you should do rather than be who you think you are.
oh no evil conformists
no, someone asked how to not be labeled as an asshole
knowing what you are wearing, an object that was iconic for a culture a long time ago, is one of those things that will gain a bit more respect if you don’t want people to judge you instantly
That’s just how society works
If who you are is a person who wears an object to look cool without really knowing what that object even is, that my friend, is a form of conforming without thought.
You can wear whatever the fuck you want, but if you don’t want people to judge, you’ll have to think about what you wear.
It’s just like if you decided to sport a mullet in a wifebeater and old jeans. It’s an IMMEDIATE look that people recognize as a stereotype.
Or wearing a snapback with the sticker still on, neon sneakers and a regular show t shirt while wearing your cargo shorts to your knees and very loosely wearing an adventure time belt, defeating it’s purpose.
You forgot to add how they wear snapbacks 45° backwards, defeating the purpose of the visor.
Even I judge and more often than not, they act how they dress which doesn’t help get rid of the stigma. I won’t say anything because I don’t know the person, but because they dress like that, I avoid them because of the perpetuated stereotype they’ve become.
Do you know how many of those stickered trucker cap kids end up being douchey quick-to-anger loudmouths in the next aisle? Enough to make the stereotype.
Honestly, why the hell do you keep the stickers on?!
I ripped the sticker off of the brony snapback of someone at my school and it was disgusting. everywhere around where the sticker was was kinda dark but where the sticker was was blinding neon yellow.I really wanted to burn that hat and put it out of its misery.
