So fucking glad I live in NZ where the district council of our capital city voted yesterday to pay their workers a living wage of $18.40 an hour and here we get holiday pay and the superannuation on top of that

Well obviously I need to move to NZ

THe reason minimum wage should not be raised is because it will cause businesses to either fire a bunch of people they can’t afford to keep,raise the price of their goods or both.
