When an artist starts drawing pony porn all of the sudden, the effects of it are rather amusing and some of it can be read in these confession blogs.

It seems like when this happens people are assuming that some sort of evil force has taken over them and soiled their oh, so pure soul with wicked perversions. It is also hinted that we find our own clop art extremely arousing and masturbate to it furiously.

Unfortunately the truth isn’t as exciting. While I have heard Tom of Finland once said he called it a bad day if he didn’t get erection while drawing, I doubt most of us masturbate to our own work. While yes, sexuality pretty much rules on what kind of clop art we find interesting to draw (Tom of Finland was gay and never drew a single woman and I can’t really draw Big Mac and Caramel going at it), the truth is simple; challenge.

After a while, drawing talking, running or walking ponies gets boring. Any artist who is willing to get better craves for a challenge. And there are only two things that are anatomically most challenging to draw; fighting and fucking.

And I have to say, fucking is more fun to draw. Unless I feel a bit angsty, then I draw fighting ponies but mostly it’s love, not war.

Drawing porn is just natural progression. No evil satanic forces here and no reason to get your fedoras in a bunch.
