Because then what’s the timeline placement on that? Skyward Sword is at the beginning of the timeline, and Twilight Princess is almost at the fucking end. It can’t take place after Skyward Sword, because Impa already becomes an old lady in that one, and it can’t take place before Twilight Princess, because Midna only looked like the little imp-whatever she is because of some curse.

Is this like Majora’s Mask rules, where there’s an alternate dimension? Or is it Smash Brothers rules?… Which means no rules.

Twilight princess is just after majoras mask. It’s on the child timeline because ganondorfs crime that lead to his execution was treason of the highest order. Link from the child timeline had the triforce of courage as proof. Also, impa could just be a family name much like zelda because every female born in the royal family is named zelda (See zelda II) Also there is no telling how old midna is.
