people like gimmick versions of canon characters over OCs. People already know about the canon character so there’s already a bit of exposure. Basically, blogs of canon characters get followers faster than OC blogs.

I don’t mean “why is Scootoaster more popular than DittoPrize”, I mean “why the fuck do I have this many followers?”
