This is the fandom I’m a part of: http://www.horse-news.net/2014/07/stolen-plushie-foundbut-they-shouldnt.html

I’ve never been more…

tigro-spottystripes

Why with all the good bronies have done, stuff above the level of the average population; accept what a few shitheads that can be found anywhere as something representative of the fandom itself?

Doesn’t sound like you understand my point of view. Lemme try to provide an analogy, the way he is behaving (and now seems you a bit as well), it’s sorta like someone commenting on a Muslim terrorist attack and saying something like “Please don’t think i’m a Muslim, Muslims have done some horrible things. Some of my best friends are Muslim; but not me, i’m not one of them, don’t insult me.”

jitterbugjive

Can you please just shut up

You’re misunderstanding literally everything and it’s just making the Brony title look even more stupid becaue you’re being overly defensive of it where you really don’t need to be

He didn’t say “Bronies are scum”

he said “I don’t want to be a brony any more.”

Ugh.

I stopped being a Christian years ago.

Does that make me hate Christians?

NO.

Does it make me try to force Christians to stop being Christian?

No.

Does it means I think all christians are idiots?

No.

Does it make me avoid anyone who associates with Christianity?

NO!

Does it mean I’m going to assume every christian is some homophobic asshole? Not in the slightest.

so go shove your muslim analogy up your ass

tigro-spottystripes

But do you still go to churches, follow their book etc?

jitterbugjive

Wow, right over your fucking head.

Good job.

Okay, let’s take it further. I can still read the Bible, I can still attend a church, I can still get in to debates about what the Bible meant when it said something or what the Biblical God is supposed to be

I don’t have to believe in God to do any of those things.

Going to church and reading the bible doesn’t make you a Christian.

You can do pretty much all the activities a Christian does without being a Christian, all it takes is saying “I’m not a Christian and I don’t believe in the Christian God. But hey, the Christian community can still be pretty cool sometimes so I’m going to hang out with them.”

You still watch the show, you still have blogs based on mlp and still attend the cons. You just don’t want to be bunched up with some assholes who, because of actions they do, become the stereotype of a fandom. What’s so hard to understand about that?
