There will always be another battle to fight, another group to free, and another oppressor to topple. Things like the racism of Jim Crow laws in the United States or the lack of women's rights to votes were glaring, obvious issues that were oppressive to huge swathes of people and needed to be dealt with. The brony movement is not on par with this. People don't respect your fandom. They don't like what you do. Understandable. That does not make you oppressed. It makes you normal.
