A little above poverty level, basically minimum wage at 40 hours a week. It’s about 9000 British Pounds, probably before taxes. Enough for an apartment, basic living expenses like food and electricity, and a car payment if you’re frugal and careful. If you need medical attention and don’t have health insurance (a job-searching artist probably wouldn’t), you’re completely screwed.
