Like, literally all discrimination is is making a big deal out of stuff. And if you really wanna change things you can’t do that.
Like, when integration was happening, there was a trend in movies where you always had a black person there. It was to show kids and adults that hey, look, they’re there, and no one cares. So, why should we? And it ya know WORKED.
So, logically, if I meet you and call you “her” and you say “I prefer he.” And not go “Fuck you! You don’t know my preferred pronoun!” (Which I HAVE had happen.) we wouldn’t have an issue.
In media there’s a trend of having homosexuals in movies, which is good but this generation is mostly online. So, if people on the Internet would stop making a big deal out of everything and whining about “Priviledge” and being hypocritical douchebags then we wouldn’t have a fucking issue!
Yes. Instead of raging at the people who don’t know you and your gender, you should politely let them know. You should only get mad if they go out of their way to call you the wrong gender, but that’s just because they are trying to be an asshole.
