a pointless notion about a videogame, because we don’t have enough of those yet
The thing that always annoyed me about Mass Effect is that there’s no jetpack or moonjump or whatever. I mean, they created a fictional physics phenomenon that reduces the weight of objects and that is supposedly so important that they named the entire series after it, and the only thing they use it for is guns, spaceships and thinly disguised Jedi powers. There’s already a mechanic where you use it to push and pull enemies around, so what’s stopping me from changing my own weight and flying around, damnit?
