Can somebody explain the exact differences between shirts, t-shirts, blouses, sweaters and vests to me?
how long it is on the stomach and how long the sleeves are.
That’s not explaining the exact differences.
That’s providing a vague idea of what causes the difference.
I was thinking more along the lines of concrete pictures and descriptions.
T shirt
The sleeves are short and end just past the shoulder. They are usually made of cotton.
Blouse
They are made of thin material and can have long or short sleeves.
Vest
Can be made of a variety of average-thick materials. Typically worn over a shirt. No sleeves.
Tank top
Made of thin material. They are SUPPOSED to be worn UNDER another shirt. Even less sleeve than a vest.
Sweater
Long sleeves and made to hug the waist, wrists and neck. They are made of thicker materials such as wool.
