Now, this I do agree with.
But as I was raised as a boy, I was never really taught how to properly take care of my hair. Heck, my mother keeps just telling me “Just shave it all off and keep your hair short” even though I want it long.
So I wash it with shampoo and conditioner and I brush it almost daily, but the humidity and heat of Florida keeps it puffy and tangled and I haven’t been to a hair-stylist in a while to get the split-ends cut off =w=
I do want to have it treated properly though, so that it’s actually well maintained long hair, just I guess I need a feminine touch to it to teach me.
Oh, I know htis one! Buy some decently priced hair care products that are intended for females. Not ones that are too expensive but don’t get the cheap crap. When washing, make sure you wash it VERY well. You shouldn’t be able to see your hair colour through the suds. Make sure you sue shampoo first and then conditioner. Rinse shampoo out completely before using conditioner. Then rinse the conditioner out completely after washing. When drying, use a hair dryer, a standard hair brush AND a thin comb. Your hair will be so soft after a few weeks.
