UGH!

I hate it when Tumblr users take scenes from cartoons out of context just to try to get notes or a reaction out of somebody (For some reason this happens with Spongebob a lot).

Squidward’s mom is completely okay. Look there she is in these scenes that take place right after the final gif!

Okay now for some context. This scene is from the episode “Krusty Towers” in which Mr. Krabs converts the Krusty Krab into a hotel in hopes of making more money. Spongebob and Squidward of course are doing the usual hotel jobs until Squidward can’t take it anymore and quits. He then precedes to come back to take a vacation at the Krusty Towers hotel to screw around with Mr. Krabs, constantly making ridiculous requests (such as redecorating the hotel room several times and making a Krabby Pattie with toe nail clippings). One of these requests is to bring him cookies “Just like Mama used to make.” Mr. Krabs brings him cookies but Squidward isn’t pleased with them because they don’t taste like his mother’s. This exchange then occurs:

Mr. Krabs: “Well then how did your Mama make them?”

Squidward: “How should I know? Ask Mama.”

Mr. Krabs and Spongebob then go to get Squidwards mom in the scene gifed in this post. Now you might be asking “What’s in that bag then?”, the answer is it’s Mr. Krabs laundry. The reason why Mr. Krabs and Spongebob were trying to stuff it in the trunk was so that they could make room so that Squidward’s mom could ride up in the front.

Now as for why Mr. Krabs and Spongebob were wearing those black masks and gloves…I honestly have no idea, maybe Spongebob and Mr. Krabs are just crazy (Cartoon logic!). 

Tumblr users, please do your research and please stop taking scenes from cartoons out of context just to try to get notes or a reaction out of somebody!

They were wearing black masks for the sake of the gag. THey were TRYING to makeit seem like they stuffed mrs. Tentacles in the trunk only to reveal she was a live. It was all for a joke.
