Its easy to forget that Batman cares and feels. He is so hard and stoic most of the time.
People easily forget that Batman is one of the most passionate people in the DC verse. He’s trained himself to be stoic and logical because his job requires absolute discipline, but beneath that rigid shell, there’s a fire hotter than any other.
People also forget that he never treats villains like joker, ivy and haryley quinn like a criminal. He treats them like mental patients because that’s what they are. He doesn’t put them in prison, he puts them in arkahm where they might be able to get the help they need.
Also, he is actually somewhat bros with mr. freeze because he is always willing to help freeze find a cure for his wifes disease as long as it doesn’t break the law.
