I read some funny reviews for paranorman.

According to some people:

  • A hero stopping a  person who was wrongfully murdered and is haunting the town as a ghost is a difficult plot to follow.
  • Dysfunctional families and school bullies as well as the witch hunts never existed in the real world
  • It’s not stop motion, just clunky cg
  • 7 year olds focus on a guy with a boyfriend when there are ghosts, zombies and car chases happening.
  • Kids are not supposed to be exposed to the truth about how the world works.
  • it was apparently supposed to be like Coraline rather than it’s own, stand alone, movie.

But in all reality, if these things are why you have a problem with the movie rather than valid reasons, then you are a big dumbass.

Also, I find it ironic that people will give the movie bad reviews because of the gay character when one of its morals was that you shouldn’t shun someone because they are born different than you.
