I hate it when people base a shipping foal’s whole life off their parents.

It’s really annoying, I mean I love shipping foals, they are overall very cute. I hate it though when people base a cutie mark and name off the parents. Say you want to make a FlutterMac foal, that’s fine! Just don’t name it Fluttermac and make it’s cutie mark an apple with a butterfly. That’s generally uncreative and foals can have different destinies then their parents.

what kind of idiot would name a foal after the parents ship? I mean, that’s like making snips and applebloom and naming their kid snapple. But if it’s an apple foal, it would make more sense for them to have an apple mark though.
