I live in texas too. And yes, there ARE people who abuse the power of their badges BUT there are also people who risk their lives for our safety. There ARE many police officers who DO catch real criminals. The only reason you don’t hear about police officers doing their jobs is because that doesn’t make a good news story. same reason you only hear about the bronies who complain about the friendzone despite them being only about 12% of the community or so. Same reason you only hear about furries who yiff and none of the ones who donate to charities and stuff. It’s because people only pay attention to the bad things in a large community and that is what creates the false stereotypes. Hating ANY group based on a generalized assumption is bad no matter who the group is or who is making the assumption.
