I just remembered another one of my characters with that kind of mane style. Her name was sanguine and she was a blood mage.
So Agate is a huge nerd during her teen years.
I needed to practice with general anatomy and also wanted to draw @jitterbugjive adorable character, smudge.

I really don’t like how I draw eyes so I decided to try some different styles. The last two are the ones I like the most.
