First off, I feel my ask came off more hostile than intended. My apologizes for lack of clarification. I actually wasn't aware that Drawponies never truly apologized for his stunt. That changes things.

Well he apologized but it feels like it was more because he was caught than actual sincerity.

But by your logic, that also means those people should be miserable for the rest of their lives? Also, just my opinion (sorry), but I don't think tardispony can be compared to Drawponies. What she's done is so much worse than selling traced art...

I mean, I agree that Drawponies has to deal with consequences. That consequence IS that people will NEVER trust them the same way EVER again. But I think everyone deserves a chance to change their ways :(

People need to be held accountable for their actions. Drawponies apology wasn’t “sorry i traced and scammed you all” it was “sorry I got caught” and even so, he doesn’t deserve forgiveness. even if you look past the stunt he pulled, he is still a general asshole. he won’t change. People like him don’t change. He has given no legitimate reason as to why he should be forgiven. If he is miserable for the rest of his life, it’s his own damn fault.

So yes, people should be miserable for their entire lives if they do what he did. What he did was dishonest and that’s why nobody is ever gonna believe him. Instead of asking me if he should be miserable, ask yourself why should he even get a second chance?
