thinking bout how it’s an oddly consistent them in deltarune that the four main characters of the game - kris, susie, ralsei, and lancer - all either have no visible eyes for a majority of the game or constantly have their faces covered. lancer’s got his spade hood/mask(?), ralsei’s face is shrouded in darkness by his hat, and both susie and kris almost always have their hair covering their eyes.
hiding the face is often a literary tool to indicate someone is hiding something. Susie was hiding her self doubt and anxieties which cause her to lash out in anger
Lancer was hiding that he knew his dad wouldnt let them go
ralsei was was hiding their true nature of who they were
and kris was hiding whatever the fuck that ending was
A few hours after I finished the goat Kris drawing last night I realized I colored their hair brown, despite never doing that for goat Frisk. So here is goat Kris with white hair.

A friend and I just had an intense debate over whether Ralsei wears anything under his cloak. I'm dead certain he's got a shirt and pants on, by my friend insists it's just fluff underneath.
Delta Rune is all kinds of wonderful and I’m loving a lot of the fanworks coming out of it, but I have to say one of the worst things I’ve seen since its release is how a chunk of the fandom seems to have completely missed one of the funnier jokes in the game.

If you actually look at the line IN-CONTEXT, it’s a legitimately funny joke. Kris approaches Sans saying that it’s good to see him again, which he finds bizarre because he’s just moved to town and has never seen Kris before. Kris will then ask to be friends with Sans, which is stupid because again, he doesn’t know Kris.
Sans then claims to have “befriended” Toriel, because she bought something from his store the night prior. In other words, he’s making fun of Kris’s ridiculous definition of “friendship” being “talking to someone for half a minute and then calling them a friend.”
Sans is absolutely brutal in making fun of Kris, which is hilarious. The “SANS SLEPT WITH TORIEL” misinterpretation of the scene, meanwhile, is … not.
i figured sans is still aware of the player and is explicitely choosing his words to poke fun at kris’s ‘friendship’, make the player aware the he knows they exist and finally to troll us by making us come to the same conclusion since he knows how the fandom is
