when people brag about how they finished the Sans fight in less than ten tries all I can think is “Well good for fucking you, that just means you won’t value the achievement as much as someone who spent over 100 fights building up the skill to finally succeed.”
I know how you feel. Sans was an ungodly motherfucker and i was so excited when I finally beat him. But it was way more fun than undyne because it was actually fun and had amazing hype music.
Genocide means the killing of an entire group of people. Killing ALL the monsters IS genocide. genocide has been around longer than WWII.

Okay, look here, @a-spoopy-mod, just because the concept has been around longer than the holocaust does NOT mean it’s sudenly excused to call something genocide when the creator of it doen’t want holocaust jokes being made.
Except the creator never said not to use it and it IS the proper terminology seeing as in the run, you kill as many monsters as the game will allow. In that run, you ARE committing genocide. And it’s not suddenly calling it a genocide run because it was called genocide run ever since people figured out the run existed. Doing a genocide run and calling it a genocide run wasn’t what pissed off the person in the stream that caused them to start the rumor that toby said not to call it genocide, what offended the person in the stream was the fact that the streamer named the character “Hitler” in combination to the genocide run. Genocide in general is not a reference to the holocause, it means attempting to wipe out an entire group of people. Did you know that the colonials committed genocide when wiping out the native americans? Is calling it a genocide run also offensive to native americans today?

It starts out with a regular game but then you kill everyone, less and less people show up. Soon, they judge you the player, not frisk the player character for your actions and call out anyone who might be watching. Then the final boss bleeds for the first time in the entire game before criticizing you and you lose all control. Last, it’s just silence until you have to sell your soul to make things right again.

The reason I was so frustrated with undyne the undying was because I could dodge every attack except for one of them

At least with sans, from what I hear, all his attacks are hard to dodge so mentally, it will be easier.
