I think the biggest problem with the live action scooby doo movies was that the entire point of scooby doo was that monsters aren’t real and the live action ones were like “Hah, fuck that. Here are demons that can jump into peoples skin and here’s a machine that can turn the costumes real!”
That isn’t what scooby doo is about, it’s about old man jenkins dressing up and scaring people so he can find the lost treasure.
