clear headed, freshly rested review.

I can confirm that a multitude of circumstances such as having to watch it on a small phone, two of my friends spoiling it and a taxing day at work among other things did in fact effect my opinion.

1) I am still iffy about their talents being “helping others find their talents” despite it being much better than just helping in general because when they try and “help” more damage than good is caused. I can see now that their primary talent of sports, singing and apple is on the shields so that makes it fell less like I was lied to for the last five years.

2) I DO still think it was out of character for Diamond Tiara to open up so fast. If she had lost silver spoon or we saw her interacting with her mother a few episodes ago, then it would make more sense but her redemption arc was still to fast.

3) The songs were subpar. They have been for the last few episodes.

Is it the worst episode? No, I still think that princess spike is the worst. But I still think that it’s certainly not the best. I don’t agree with the cutiemarks but now that I can see them proper and can actually understand what they are for, it’s easier to swollow but still iffy.

On a related note, next week I should not be in a certain skype group, I should make sure I don’t work a long ass shift and I should avoid whatever the fuck fucked up my stomach.

Imagine some white kid in california is trying to convince everyone the movie godzilla is offensive to japanese people.

Nor what if a japanese person comes along and tells the kid to shut up because it’s not offensive.

Logically, the kid should listen to the japanese person and listen to the voice of the people they’re “trying to protect” but instead the kid argues not only with the japanese person but a lot more japanese people who tell the kid it’s not offensive.

That is basically what was happening.

A few people who weren’t trans were trying to tell the trans community what is and isn’t offensive to trans people and when real trans people tried to tell them to stop, they argued. they argued with the people who they were “speaking for”

That is why I am super pissed. Don’t tell me what I should be angry at and don’t tell me I should find something offensive. me and other trans people can speak for ourselves, we DID speak for ourselves and they ignored it.

If you aren’t trans, don’t say what is and isn’t offensive to trans people. Don’t tell me what I should and shouldn’t be offended by. Don’t speak on my behalf, I can speak for myself.
