I think season four was the climax and everything now is just declining action. Everything is just calming down after Equestria nearly lost both princesses, all magic and was nearly destroyed. I mean the episodes in which the map is involved are actually pretty good but it seriously feels like a lot of filler now that there’s an actual plot going on.

What if the reason the three kingdoms settled their differences was because they found that their own people were resorting to cannibalism, becoming wendigos and causing even more problems. The solution? Work together to not only kill the wendigos but also to ensure there’s enough food to avoid canabalism in equestria. The other thing this means is that cannibals in equestria or central equestria would become these beasts
