I found it interesting that in Connie and Pearl’s song she states “deep down, you know you’re not meant for fighting” which, backed up by Sugar’s statement of the gems working together to be odd, I’d like to think that pearls have a very specialised job in the gemworld, that does not involve any sort of combat. Just a tidbit.
THere’s the theory that pearls are mainly meant to be servents to the diamonds which would explain her being in lesbians with rose considering there is even more evidence backing up the rose quartz/pink diamond theory.
I love how he’s not even doing much. He’s just sitting there like:
“… Don’t mind me, I’m just having lunch. Talk amongst yourselves.”

I didn't really think the fan on relationship of Vinyl and Octavia to be abusive. But I do find some of the fan on a bit grating and cliche. It's like a bad sitcom couple. I was really surprised how different they made the relationship, and it worked really well! It was a short scene but instead of having them reach an argument about music, Octavia is bothered by music and Vinyl tries to help her out. Canon over fanon

Nearly every fic or fanwork involving them was abusive. It involved vinyl doing somthing stupid, octavia asks to stop and vinyl does the thing even more intensely which results in octavia getting hurt.
Or just vinyl hurting octy and then doing nothing to help her afterwards or just stands there an laughs
Vinyl tricked octy into drinking hotsauce and instead of offering assistance when octy is clearly struggling to function, she just laughs.
If fans wrote the scene in teh 100th episode where octy said “that’s not wedding appropriate” vinyl would have played the same thing even louder and bust octys ear drums.
But yeah, a lot of fanon works have octy and vinyl in an abusive relationship so I’m happy canon doesn’t do that.
Honestly I really loved how chill and calm he was like “What? What did I do?” it GIVES ME HOPE that there are indeed good changelings in the world of ponies ;u;
