It’s been implied that Sour Cream and Onion are Half-brothers
Yellowtail, Sour Cream, and Onion are all seen together in The Return, implying they are a family unit of some fashion.
Vidalia is a type of onion. Vidalia is likely Sour Cream and Onion’s mom, completing a terrible trifecta of names.
Sour cream talked about his “weird step dad,” which likely refers to Yellowtail, meaning Sour Cream’s genetic father is unaccounted for.
The timeline is a little hazy, but if Sour Cream was conceived when Marty was in beach city, the difference between Steven and Sour Cream’s age would be the amount of time Greg and Rose dated before deciding to have a child, Which seems like it checks out.
Marty is Sour Cream’s dad.

Don’t forget that sour cream also said his dad wants to continue the family business of being a fisherman.
Probably the same reason greg had to emphasize that he was there 5000 years ago during the gem war. I mean, it would be implied that he wasn’t there that long ago so why was he so quick to emphasize that he wasn’t?
My theory is that this is gregs version, a more modern take on how they first met so that steven doesn’t realize he’s actually 5000+ years old.
This episode was so important on so many levels, I can barely begin to explain it- But let me start by pointing out this scene.
Marty suggested that having multiple flings with women is OK. That instead of giving love and affection towards one person you find yourself compatible with, you should just basically date, have a one night stand with, etc. with multiple people. Greg didn’t sit by and agree with this. He corrected him and said that women are not objects to be played with and then thrown away when you’re bored with them. Women are people, just like any other human being in this world that we live upon.
So don't you dare sit there and tell me the only reason Rose fell in love with Greg was because he was good looking when he was younger. This man stated something in a few seconds that most people can’t get through their heads and comprehend in a lifetime. Greg is a wonderful, caring man, a dad who’s trying to do his best for his child without the help from his deceased wife, and knows that when someone says something that he thinks is wrong or he doesn’t agree with, he speaks up.
I’m really glad that children, will get to see this- children who will hold onto this message and learn that it’s not alright to treat people like play things.
Rose saw beauty in many things on earth. It would make sense that she would fall in love with someone who shares similar views.
