vanity fair said “if you think this final shot [between Korra and Asami] was denoting mere friendship, you’re kidding yourself.”
forbes said “a series revealing its openly gay Nickelodeon character in the last episode is […] the natural conclusion to a show’s fan base who was forced to grow up along with the series” and that “The Legend of Korra, a Nickelodeon cartoon, changed the face of TV.”
huffington post said “Korrasami supporters around the world let out a scream of joy. The fan ship finally seems to be official.”
international business times said “The Legend of Korra finally ended its four glorious seasons but not without astonishing its fans by projecting Korra and Asami’s unspoken love in the most poignant and graceful manner possible.”
a.v. club said “the nature of Korra and Asami’s relationship isn’t made overly explicit, but the writers heavily hint at a romantic connection.”
tv.com said “I can understand resistance to the idea that […] Korra and Asami are starting a relationship together, but I just don’t think the episode really supports that resistance and it is, in fact, declaring Korra and Asami as a couple.”
at this point, Korra and Asami’s moments together at the end of the episode shouldn’t and cannot be seen as anything but romantic. stop trying to make fans think they’re just imagining things, and stop trying to make this about friendship. it’s about two queer girls and about how incredibly important they are to the LGBTQ community.
Wow…. has anyone noticed, the details? Astrid’s pained expression while looking at a suffering Hiccup, glancing back at the others who were waiting for her signal. Then, her arrow is the very first to be released…. it’s soooo touching. it’s like butterflies in my stomach for how much DreamWorks have pointed her character out. (When not? Lol)
Even Valka waits for Astrid’s signal; it’s her husband’s funeral, but deep down the greatest loss is on Hiccup’s shoulders. Losing the one parent that’s been there all his life, under those circumstances and in such a critical time of his life… It’s Astrid who is closer to his heart. It is only fitting she takes the lead, choosing the moment in respect to him.
BEHOLD, VILLAINS OF LEGEND OF KORRA HAVING A PHONE SESSION/CONFERENCE!
NOBODY LIKES UNALAQ
The best part in all of korra
but really though WHAT HAPPENED WITH ZOMBIE AMON?? OAO
He was summoned by Vatuu so when unatuu was turned into fairy dust stars, zombie amon died again.
can we just appreciate that this actually happened in the show. This is canon. This is unedited footage from the show.
“I’M NOT CRYING, YOU’RE CRYING >:„,(”
“no sir I’m pretty sure that’s you”If this doesn’t happen in the show, I swear to god.
I mean, no way they’re gonna keep Zhu Li a bad guy, right?
… Right?
Of course not. They would have to be sadistic writers who feed off of the pain of their fans. they would have to be aware that everyone expects Zhu Li to still be loyal to Verrick and is just playing spy now.
