Gravity Falls (2012-2016)
If you’ve ever taken a road trip through the Pacific northwest, you’ve probably seen a bumper sticker for a place called Gravity Falls.
i was so busy wondering if i could that i didn’t stop to think if i should
I dONT KNOW WHAT I WAS EXPECTING
I JUST SPAT OUT MY DRINK
i’M CRYING
FUCKING
I was rewatching Take Back The Falls and holy shit the voice acting during the deal with Bill scene was phenomenal, especially once you know about the twist. When “Stan” said “Don’t do it, Ford! He’ll take over the universe!” it sounded kinda forced, like someone who’s bad at acting or lying. Which makes sense when you realize Ford doesn’t have much practice at lying. And “Ford’s” voice sounds more gravely than normal, more like Stan who’s impersonating his brother at that moment.
Alex Hirsch and JK Simmons acted the hell out of that scene and it was awesome.
they did this sorta thing when bill possessed blendin too!! his stuttering sounded forced and like someone was trying to impersonate him instead of him talking naturally
The voice direction on this show was so good
I knew exactly what was gonna happen when ford mentioned he could kill bill if he didn’t have his metal plate and I was still shocked
really when u think about it a lot of the reason ford fucked up so much/bill was defeated in the end was because they were too obsessed with each other to recognize almost anyone else as important/a threat
This was the wheel in the first episode and what Gideon used to summon him the first time

This is the wheel as Gideon drew it in jail to gain control of his father

This is the one that ford tried to use against bill

So here is what I think.
The first wheel is to bring him into this realm in a nonphysical form
The second wheel is to just speak and make deals with him wherever he is without summoning him
The last wheel is to seal him away should he end up passing into the physical realm.
