The rose tear badge is maybe the only useful badge in the game, maybe the amber too
Ember badge is also good because it does more damage on larger enemies than normal attacks.
Pearl is practically useless though.
the badges weak as hell, i already finishd the game and the items were the stuff that did the job, and i didnt even use most of the items lik never, i used items like star fuit or encourage items like cookie cat, maybe rose's tears too if im too unlucky haha
I have Pearl with two defense badges, amethyst with the fire badge and the rose tear badge and I have garnet with the crit=health badge.

I spam Amethysts super whip thing on the tougher enemies and the ones with shields. A bunch of small attacks that deal a little bit of damage is more likely to get the burning effect than one attack that does a lot of damage in one burst. I just wish the badge that lets you gain health for each lucky hit could be worn by her.

It’s possible that rose took on the name rose quartz as a way to say she’s no longer part of homeworld, no longer a diamond overlord. It’s also possible that diamond overlord is a title and not an actual gem.
It’s also likely that there are many types of gems. Because of what jasper said to pearl. that pearl is just “some lost, deformed pearl” it implies there are more pearls on homeworld.
What about the fact that the mural show Rose and other gemas fighting ONE gem?? I have a theory that this gem is efectively ONE fussion of many, maybe the base was the same gem in the left (←) and the hands represent the gems that decide fussion temporaly with that one (or maybe all happend right to left)

that is an interesting theory. But the whole mural fucks with the timeline. Because when was the mural created? Who made it?
Maybe the whole temple was made by white diamond after retreating into her gem after losing the battle of strawberry field.
If the “death” of white diamond marked the start of the first gem war for earth then the temple fusion between rose, pearl, amethyst, sapphire and ruby would mark the end when they finally drive back yellow diamond.
