With all the "inapropiate" indications that gem fussions mean I think that "the super gem fussion" is kinda "wrong", but if you concider that Sugilite look so monstruous then is probable that Rose was the one who keep that fussion in synchro and beautiful...

There isn’t anything inappropriate about fusion. I think either ruby or sapphire is iffy about amethyst and when three gems are fused at once, it’s not gonna be pretty. I think the mega fusion that is the temple was the way it was because they all agreed that the war needed to end. It was that they all had the same goals
So to sum it all up, Steven Universe shows an immense amount of diversity between body shapes and sizes. It shows a positive role model to all ages about loving who you are! This show has helped me love myself a lot more than i used to before watching it, and i know it’s the same for many others!

Don’t forget that it also has characters of many sexualities and people of various races. And nobody is shamed for what they are except that one time the gems were being blamed but that was because they were gems and they sorted that out quickly. But yeah, that’s how you do representation.
remember when somebody changed jasper’s name to “big buff cheeto puff” on the steven universe wiki and it got changed back almost instantly but somehow became the most reliable way to identify her

You know, I think it’s
important to consider the massive time dissonance the Gems experience.
The war was over
5,000 years ago, and Pearl seems to remember it clearly. She casually remarks
to Dewey how humans used to hunt and gather, and asks him “whatever happened
to that?” as if Dewey could have even possibly been alive back then. She tries
to take Steven out to space for a bit of a test run and reassures Greg that
she’ll have him back in 50 years.
This stuff is usually
played for laughs until you consider that Rose has been dead for, probably at
most, 11 years. To humans, that’s a pretty decent amount of time to grieve,
adjust, cope, and move on. Some of us probably don’t even have distinct
memories from 11 years ago.
But to Gems, where
5,000 years is nostalgic and 50 years is as casual as babysitting for the
weekend, Rose may as well have died yesterday. 11 years is nothing, less than
nothing, in Gem memory. And even with all their memories of Rose so raw and
recent, the Gems still pretend for Steven’s sake that they’ve already moved on.
…I think about this a lot every time one of them breaks down over Rose’s death.
i’m still laughing about the whole “onion = yellow diamond” theory because the whole “he has no ears, so he must be a gem” point is literally exactly what dib says to try and prove that zim is an alien in the first episode of invader zim
