By all accounts, bismuth was correct and that weapon could have been a turning point in the war, saving everyone and you can’t even use the “but at what cost” argument because the cost probably wouldn’t have been as bad as the diamonds song, which forced all gems on earth sans roses posse into a fate worse than death.
I have no reason to disagree with bismuth. I have no good reason to disagree with her. And that makes me feel queasy. And that is why I like the show. Because it’s not all black and white, but various shades of grey.
Just a reminder that there are more sexualities than hetero and homo. Pearl can still be shipped with greg while being just as gay as when she was with rose. Bi, pan and demi are still are thing.

Di-did you not see the latest episode? Where in the end she accepted rose was gone and started warming up to greg? I mean, it’s not like they had a moment that rivals rainbow quartz or anything. She isn’t repulsed by men. And her being shipped with greg doesn’t make her any less gay. Saying shit like a “man and a women in a relationship is only hetero” is biphobic, demiphobic and Panphobic. There are more sexualities than just homo and hetero.
