I think the most egregious thing about the dashboard update is that it removes any incentive to read at all. Theres no breaks. every text is now a huge block of text that has no indication of when one persons post ends and someones reblog response begins. Let alone no way to see WHO posted and reblogged it or even if the person on the dash is the one leaving a comment.
tumblr nuking blogs that are flagged nsfw or posts a lot of stuff thats flagged as nsfw is even worse when you remember that the tumblr algorithm tends to flag LGBT content as nsfw
Heads up
Tumblr set all blogs to SFW. If you have a NSFW blog, you need to set it back to NSFW in the blog settings.

so part of the change in viewing notes is that you can choose to view only replies reblogs that have comments
Combined with the tag viewer this is actually a great way to see what people are saying about my posts and this update is actually really good.
@staff, I genuinely can’t believe I’m saying this but good job.
April First is coming up and we all know what that means
It means we should all pay our respects to someone who was there for us. Someone who worked hard and helped our stocks when they were at their lowest. Someone who put us before himself and as a result, passed away.

so rather than bringing back replys so we can say our thoughts on a certain post directly to the poster, they made it so we can send the post to someone else and talk about it behind the posters back. @staff wants us to be like holywood highschool girls and I’m not okay with that.
