I will never stop talking about how much Undertale helped me. I’m still not the greatest person, but I could have been a hell of a lot worse. I owe Toby Fox so much.
It’s why I get so defensive when someone says anything bad about this game because it’s so much more than just a game to me. Even just that one line,
To some it’s a reflection of the journey you’ve been on in the game, but to me, and I’m sure to others like me as well, it holds a whole different and very personal meaning. I broke down into tears when I read it, and still do sometimes. It’s one of those things you didn’t realize how badly you needed to hear.
That’s why I’ll defend Undertale to the grave if I have to. It may not seem like much to some of you, but to others, it was life changing, and to some it was even life saving.
Understand that to some of us, it’s not just a game.
