is it like some maintained callout list of people who do undertale porn the wrong way is it your personal list for people who make the wrong kind of porn is it just a list of people who draw undertale porn at all, and have viewers that can’t blacklist properly
i must be missing something important
it’s a sign that undertale is going down the same path as steven universe.
We can’t let that happen.
It looks like it’s going down that rout what with people getting onto other people when they draw the AMBIGUOUS GENDER/RACE PROTAGONIST in the way they imagine them to be if it doesn’t fit headcanon. People are already getting onto artists for drawing “skinny toriel” despite the fact that toriel wears a long robe and we have no idea whether she’s skinny, average or fat. people are getting onto artists for drawing the skelebros and the fish and dino as humans if they’re drawn white because it doens’t fit headcanons.
The whole point of the game is that it’s up to interpretation. So that many people can see themselves as someone no matter who the character is. And even outside of the art part, people get really pissed if you kill someone in your first run. THey also get really pissed if you genocide first run. THey also get pissed if you get the true ending in your first run. No matter how you play it, it’s not “the proper way” to play. Nevermind the fact that it’s multiple ways to play each give a little bit more about the characters and lore or that it makes it very replayable.
Also people are getting mad at toby for asking people not to sell fan merch of undertale despite the fact that he’s an indie developer and his income comes from people buying the game AND THE OFFICIAL MERCH.
So yeah, it does look like it’s going down a similar path as steven universe.
Grillby Bonus Boss Fight (Genocide Run) (spoilers!)
I’m surprised I haven’t seen more posts about this fight. It shouldn’t be that hard to find, since sans flat out tells you where to go. If you head
back to Grillby’s after beating Sans you’ll find him waiting there for
you. And he’s not happy.
The glasses scroll from right to left or left to right, and they get faster each time.
This one gets really tricky, since the bubbles don’t move in straight
lines and you can’t stop moving. It’s not impossible but I’ve never
avoided taking damage.
And sometimes he just lets one of these loose. This one doesn’t look
too hard to avoid, and it isn’t at first. But it can strike in the
center or on either side, and he’ll sometimes do it in the middle of the
other two attacks.
As you would guess from his defense, one hit is enough to take him
down…but he immediately reignites no matter how many times you do.
The only way to make it stick is to make a detour to Hotland first.
If you carry the cup with you into the battle you have a new option in the act menu.
And with that, Grillby is no more.
I…is this real?!
Man, I wish this was real because that would be rad.
me (internally): i think mettaton is a far deeper character than some people give him credit for- he’s deeply flawed and tends to be incredibly selfish, but at the same time cares a lot about certain people, more than i think he even realizes. he’s super complex and interesting and his relationships with the other characters - especially alphys and napstablook - are really interesting to me.
Mettaton is flashy but cares deeply about all his fans and makes sure to include as many of them as he can.
When cursing on your essay, he informs you that the show is family friendly, when he loses arms, he just roles with it which is great for inspiring his armless viewers like monster kid. He is willing to sacrifice his dream so of becoming a star in the overworld to continue inspiring the audience he has in the underground. Mettaton is a fantastic character.
