The absolute hottest take ive had came to me as i was trying to sleep
Lord english is doomed. he is and always was doomed. Candy is the alpha timeline. Dirk created the offshoot that created lord english in the first place. Lord english was unkillable because he took measures not to different than davesprite but now that hes outside his original timeline, hes marked for doom.
There are three villains in homsetuck, one of each alignment
Chaotic evil: Lord English. A being of pure destruction. Seeks absolute chaos and control. Weaves the very existence of reality around himself to assert dominance.
Neutral evil: Dirk Strider. Wants to break out of the narrative. His friends are expendable to him if it helps him break free of the clutches of paradox space.
Lawful evil: Muse Calliope. wants nothing more than to bring order to the chaos that her brother created. Is willing to sacrifice anyone and do unspeakable acts to ensure the reality no longer has to be threatened by him.
the timeline of the epiloges
SO the epilogues happen at the same time just like universe B1 and B2 so for the intents and purposes im gonna refer to candy as C1 and meat as C2.
C1 established: Muse Callie is in the corpse of a jade and narrates john choosing candy and the proceeding events. She writes the events to be a fix it where everyone is happy. Dirk, having experience dealing with cherubs seizing control of the narrative and writes himself out of the narrative by killing himself. This fucks up the Muses plan as echos of C2 begin to fall into C1. Everything falls apart. Meenah is alive. Vriska kills gamzee. Apocalypse happens. Long after, but not so long that the cherubs hatch, A robot rose and dirk arrive on earth C1.
C1 prediction: they find C1 dirks tomb, its why rose says “you gotta come look at this.” C1 dirk finally resurrects and now free from the exile that is the muse, takes control of the narrative, probably using the command console that caliborn later uses. This parallels Callie finding the muse, signalling its time to act
C2 established: Dirk takes control of the narrative as an exile. he makes john choose meat. John punches aranea and recruits the game over kids before they all die to face lord english. Almost nobody survives. Vriska gets sucked into the black hole and ends up on C1 earth. Jade gets impaled with a shard of reality and dies, later to become a meat puppet used by the muse and enters the black hole to C1 earth. She attempts to sieze control of the narrative from dirk but fails. She uses C2 jade in parallel to how caliborn could use lil cal to influence people, to try and stop dirk but fails. Lord english is horribly injured and weakened before getting forced into the black hole and into universe C1. Meenah steals the ring of life and enters the black hole. John gets poisoned with cherubic poison that erases his relevancy in the narrative. Rose is dying an dirk builds her a robot body. Shortly after leaving with rose, C1 dirk relinquishes the narrative to the muse who relays that dirk was manipulating things. Terezi chases after dirk.
C2 Prediction: Rose and dirk pass through the black hole and land on C1 earth where they meet C1 dirk. C1 dirk does the thing.
Timelines converge prediction: lord english exits the black hole, greeted by an undead jade possessed by the muse, A very much alive and relevant john, a living rose, dave and jade. The Roxy and jake and vriska. During the fight to finally finish him off, terezi comes out of the black hole to participate. Free from meddling exiles who write friendfiction, she takes action and helps beat lord english. Johns corpse comes in handy somehow, not sure yet. Maybe they stab LE with the golden tooth to poison him or maybe in this new timeline, jane can resurrect him. shit happens and whichever characters arent dead in one universe die in the other and vice versa. more shit happens and the timelines converge into one probably with retcon powers and end with only one of each character. LE is finally defeated as is the muse. Everyone is alive and can finally live their life. John zaps to the future and rose self destructs, her consciousness fusing with the living past rose like in davesprites timeline. C1 dirk takes the blame for the shit C2 dirk did and dies a just death to settle grudges. The world no longer separates the four kingdoms and lives in harmony until the planet dies and becomes home the dirks and later the cherubs.
