my new favourite character archetype of the 2010s is “character is raised by an abusive motherly figure with a spider theme whose constant pressures and neglect leads the character to constantly feel they need to prove themselves and in doing so always ends up causing so many more problems which end up destroying everything and they are rivals with their childhood friend whom they hurt and the childhood friend desperately wants the character to realize that she doesnt need to be a better person but there gets a point where it looks like character is beyond hope so rival begrudgingly tries to kill her even though they really dont want to”

hiveswap extended universe
Anyone else think about how convoluted the hiveswap extended universe is?
It starts with joey and judes half siblings (the mother is their estranged aunt who turned out to not actually be related to their father) and the kids of their babysitter. the world gets destroyed and shit happens. then it cuts to arena stickball gijinkas fighting quadrant gijinkas with kismesis as the leader despite moirail being much more competent. the snowball gijinka cuts off kismessis eye and arm and some teal makes the man on the moon gijinka blow off not elwurds eye and arm. then not elwurd dies at some point but joey and judes half brother ends up stopping that from happening. alternate version of the babysitter ends up becoming a god or something. I really think they jumped the shark. im glad disney bought hiveswap and declared the extended universe non canon.
